Overview
Ses Salines is a long, sweeping curve of pale sand named after the historic salt flats situated in the southernmost part of Ibiza. Set within a protected Natural Park, the beach is bordered by a beautiful pine forest and sand dunes, offering a scenic backdrop and incredibly transparent shallow waters.
Known as the island's most fashionable beach, Ses Salines is famous for its celebrity sightings and legendary beach clubs like Jockey Club and Sa Trinxa. The atmosphere is social, trendy, and lively, with music, beach parades, and street vendors adding to the summer energy.
Since the beach lies within a protected nature reserve, strict ecological guidelines apply, particularly regarding the preservation of the ancient Posidonia seagrass meadows that keep the waters clean. The far end of the beach towards the old watchtower is quieter and is a traditional hotspot for naturism.
