Overview
Cala d'Hort is a small, dramatic beach situated in a valley on the southwest coast of Ibiza. It is globally famous for offering breathtaking, front-row views of the iconic and mysterious volcanic rock island of Es Vedrà, which rises vertically from the sea just offshore.
The beach is a mixture of fine sand and smooth pebbles, surrounded by high cliffs that protect it from the wind. It has a magical, serene quality that draws sunbathers, photographers, and sunset watchers who gather to watch the sun dip directly behind the legendary rock.
Cala d'Hort is home to several highly-rated traditional restaurants serving authentic Ibizan paellas and seafood. Parking is notoriously difficult during the summer months, with visitors often having to park along the steep access road and walk down to the beach, making early arrival a must.
