Overview
Cala Benirrás is a sheltered, pine-fringed bay in the rugged north of Ibiza, famous for its bohemian charm and artistic spirit. The beach offers a mix of golden sand and pebbles, looking out onto the dramatic rock formation of Cap Bernat, also known as "the finger of God."
Benirrás is internationally renowned for its Sunday sunset drumming ritual, where drummers gather on the sand to play tribal rhythms as the sun goes down. This bohemian tradition attracts large crowds, creating a unique, festival-like atmosphere on the beach.
The bay is protected, making it a popular anchoring spot for private yachts and an excellent location for snorkeling along the rocky coastline. The beach area features several restaurants, a beach bar, and a charming local hippie market selling clothing and handmade crafts.
